ABOUT US

Where Stories Ignite Movements

Our Story

At Mocha International, storytelling is not just an art — it’s an act of liberation. We are a transmedia storytelling company committed to amplifying Black and Indigenous narratives across publishing, television, film, brand strategy, and cultural movements.

Founded by Mocha Ochoa, a publisher, author, and literary strategist, Mocha International was born from a simple but radical belief:

Every voice is sacred. Every story is a blueprint for freedom.

Our work moves across books, screens, and stages — building platforms where stories spark movements, culture becomes transformation, and liberation lives at the center of every narrative.

What We Stand For

Our values guide every conversation, every book selection, and every gathering we create for our community.

Storytelling as Power

We believe that stories shape reality. When we change the stories being told, we change the world being built.

Culture as Resistance

Our creative work honors the traditions of the Harlem Renaissance, the Negritude Movement, and global liberation movements — weaving them into new forms of cultural power.

Publishing as Activism

We offer hybrid publishing services, brand publishing strategy, and media consulting to empower authors, brands, and changemakers to own their narratives.

Legacy Through Media

Through Mocha Universe, our media production and athlete branding division, we help build visual legacies that will inspire generations.

Our Mission

We build platforms where stories become movements, and culture becomes liberation.

At Mocha International, storytelling is not just business — it’s legacy. Join us as we amplify brilliance, ignite change, and craft the future

"I am a keeper of ancestral memory. I archive stories that weren't meant to survive..."
